I teach music in Carney, Oklahoma, about 20 miles south of Stillwater. I also do Celtic-style fiddling with bands in central Oklahoma.

Violin lessons are a good way to introduce youngsters to instrumental music; there is a lot of material available for beginner students to learn, and the instrument itself can be sized to fit even a small child. The most common teaching method for young violin beginners today uses the materials and philosophy of Shinichi Suzuki, a Japanese musician and teacher who believed that all children have the talent to learn if they are taught well by loving parents and teachers. His "Talent Education" methods have been studied and embraced by music teachers worldwide.

I look forward to meeting you soon.
